Increasing your product appeal with FairWild: a webinar for wild collection operations

August 2020 - With wild sourced herb products increasingly in demand in the current global crisis, consumers are increasingly asking how to be sure that the products they use are benefitting people and planet, and brands are increasingly looking to use certified ingredients to demonstrate their ethical credentials to consumers.

Following on from our successful webinar for brands held at the end of May, we will be continuing our series with a webinar exploring how to implement the FairWild Standard and certify wild harvested ingredients. With input from special guest presenters, we'll cover the social, environmental and fair trade aspects of the Standard - including fair prices and premiums for wild harvesters, establishing wild harvest management plans and monitoring systems, and negotiating equitable trading partnerships with buyers.

Join the FairWild Foundation and special guests on Wednesday 23 September to learn more about:

  • Why brands and consumers care about wild

  • What FairWild Foundation does

  • How FairWild certification can benefit your business

  • An exclusive look at what FairWild certification has meant to certified operations

  • The road to FairWild certification!

The webinar will be repeated across two sessions, so feel free to join the one which fits better for your time zone.

Special guest speakers include:

  • Gus Le Breton from Zimbabwe based Baobab collection operation B'Ayoba (AM session)

  • Elisa Aragon from Central American based Peru Balsam collection operation Nelixia(PM session)
