Mainstreaming Biodiversity Management into Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Production Processes in Lebanon

The FairWild Standard (its precursor, ISSC-MAP) was used as a reference in the UNDP-GEF funded project "Mainstreaming Biodiversity Management into Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Production Processes (MAPS)" in Lebanon. This video shows a training workshop with harvesters of sage and oregano, exploring the benefits and challenges of introducing new regulations for the sector, and best practice in sustainable harvesting methods. For more information about the project and to access reports visit the UNDP Lebanon website.
